Stokes Precision Engineering is founded
Established to deliver exceptional subcontract machining for the medical industry, the business was built on precision, reliability and consistent quality from day one. Those same values still guide everything we do today.
Expansion and a move to Norfolk
Rising demand prompted a pivotal relocation, creating the capacity to support larger and more ambitious engineering projects. This period sharpened our ability to combine technical skill with real-world manufacturing problem-solving.
Rebranding as Accuturn Ltd
As our capabilities evolved, we became Accuturn Ltd and expanded into the supply of high-end stainless steel handrail components for projects across London and the wider UK. This helped deepen our expertise in precision metalwork and handrail-related manufacturing.
Introducing the CoreMount system
We launched CoreMount to make commercial-grade handrails more accessible to a wider audience. By handling the intricate machining in our UK factory, we deliver ready-to-install kits designed to reduce on-site hassle, minimise adhesives and welding, and provide premium British-made quality with outstanding ease of installation.

Today, CoreMount brings together years of precision engineering and handrail manufacturing experience into a system designed for simpler installation, dependable quality and a cleaner finish.
